TAMUQ's Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards were presented to Dr. Bouhali and Mr. Chaudhry in recognition of their exceptional service over the past several years!
CONGRATULATIONS
Trainees have discovered the Python context and learned its syntax, formed by elements such as variables, keywords, data structures, control blocks and modules, through a hands-on training.
Trainees have learned how to use Raad2, our flagship HPC. They discovered how to remotely connect to the system, how to transfer data to and from the system, how to run their programs on the system using different technics (serial, parallel...), etc.
Trainees have learned how to simply use Linux OS i.e. how to remotely access a Linux machine and what are the most useful basic Linux commands. Then they learned Linux fundamental concepts such as, file system, processes, I/O redirection, and how to do write shell scripts.
Trainees have learned how to efficiently use MATLAB to leverage the power of our Raad2 HPC Cluster.
RC Team Director, Dr. Othmane Bouhali was the Conference chair of ICSEC23, putting computational science in the spotlight !
