THIS PROCEDURE IS OUTDATED AND WILL BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE SOON

1. Navigate to “P:\Office of Research\Research Computing\RC\Avizo\Avizo 2023.1.1” and select the operation system package from Windows/Linux, copy executable file to your Desktop.
2. Right click the setup file and select Run as administrator.
3. Setup Wizard will start. Installation is straight forward, just select the default options.
4. When asked for which edition to install, select your required one.
5. For licensing option, select “License server activation (last option)” and click next. Installation will begin. Installation process can take several minutes.
6. Once installation is completed, run the software. You will be prompted for License configuration window. Select “Activate License”. Select “License server” and enter rc-license.qatar.tamu.edu in Main License Server field.
